Canton Public Library 
The Canton Public Library is located at 409 Lewis Street. It offers a wide variety of reading materials from current releases to historic information. Special programs are held throughout the year for children and youth of all ages.
The Canton Public Library is located at 403 Lewis Street in downtown Canton. The phone number for the library is 573-288-5279. Hours of operation for the Library are Mondays through Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. Patrons can renew their library materials via email by contacting the library at cantonlibrarydirector@gmail.com. Please include the number of materials checked out and the due date.
The Canton Public Library has public access computers available to the general public. Although the use of the computers is free, patrons must sign a consent form for computer use. Computer patrons under the age of 18 are required to have their parents sign the consent form allowing them to use the internet.
The Canton Public Library holds open Board Meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month, excluding December. Anyone who may have ideas or suggestions for the library is welcome to attend.

Lewis County Historical Society Libary & Museum
The Lewis County Historical Society Museum is located at 102 North 4th Street. This is also home to the Lewis County Historical Society. The museum is also an extensive research facility on Lewis County history and families. Started by Stuart and Jean Purvines to house their extensive collection of geneological research on Lewis County families, the society & museum is manned by volunteers willing to help you find a link to your past. Hours are Tuesday & Thursdays 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM or by appointment on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Remember When Toy Museum
The Remember When Toy Museum is located on Route B South. The museum houses a collection of nostalgia especially in children's toys. For more information on hours and admission price, please call 573-288-3995.
