Please join us from 10am to 1:30pm at historic Lock and Dam #20 meeting room for a lecture on the Bald Eagle and its history with biologist Dr. Joe Coelho. There will be scopes and binoculars available for viewing eagles at the shelter house along the riverfront as well as reading materials and warm refreshments.

The Canton Area Arts Council will host a gallery exhibit at the former Saturday Store (4th and Lewis St.) featuring photographs of the Canton Camera Club. The theme of the show is Wildlife of Lewis County.  The gallery will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Hot chocolate will be served. 

Then head over to the beautifully restored Lewis Street Playhouse (405 Lewis Street) for a slide show, Birds of Lewis County, featuring photos and commentary by Dr. Joe Coelho, beginning at 1:45pm. 

At 2pm, enjoy a FREE SHOWING of the movie The Big Year, starring Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson, also at the Lewis Street Playhouse. 

The Canton Tourism Commission will kick off a photo contest at this event, and details will be available that day.
